My Fundraising Cabaret for The London Marathon

08th April 2018

08th April 2018

My mum loved to sing as do I so on 8th April some very talented kind friends of mine from the West End have agreed to come and sing with me for what will be a very special night.

On 22nd April 2018 I will be running the London Marathon in memory of my mum Susan Dowsett who passed away from Breast Cancer on 17th March 2013 at St Clare’s Hospice, Hastingwood. I’m a bit scared but my logic is if my mum can go through what she went through then the least I can do is run a Marathon
In February 2013 I was looking after my mum at home; it had gotten to the point where we didn’t know what to do anymore and then St. Clare’s stepped in and the sun came out. The treatment and care my mum received in the last few months of her life made all the difference. I will be eternally grateful to them which is why I am honoured to be running for them in the London Marathon. All proceeds from this concert go to My Marathon effort in aid of St Clare and I would be honoured to have you join us and help support the incredible work that St Clare do for people just like my mum.
