April presents a celebration of the work of the great composer Harold Arlen, whose prolific catalogue includes the well known, best loved film musical, The Wizard of Oz. But who was Arlen? Why do so few people know his name?

Come and discover some of his best loved Jazz Standards like Stormy Weather, World on a String, The Man that Got Away and many many more!
Arlen is revered by his better known peers, such as Irving Berlin, the Gershwins and Jerome Kern who considered him the most innovative of them all and the true master of their craft of songwriting.
"She was talented, funny and informative giving us information on the composer Harold Arlen, whom she felt had been neglected.
"But apart from her big new voice one of her biggest assets is her ability to involve her audience"
"she managed to make us laugh along with her in this number and finally to make us cry at the very end. This is a huge talent."
